We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality & Compliance Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO9001 standards.
This is a critical role focused on safeguarding our reputation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving sustainable growth through quality excellence and continuous improvement.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead and maintain the ISO9001-aligned Quality Management System, driving continuous improvement.
- Oversee ISO9001 certification, including audits, recertification, and annual Management Review.
- Manage internal and external audit programmes, including risk-based site audits, supplier audits, and client inspections.
- Produce audit reports, track non-conformances, and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Partner with stakeholders to improve quality performance and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Support operational teams through site visits, performance monitoring, and guidance.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation with effective version control and communication.
- Support tender submissions with quality-related inputs.
- Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities, reporting insights to senior leadership.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Experience in quality management within the courier, express, or parcel (CEP) industry.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification (IRCA or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and data analysis.
- Proven experience managing audits and quality systems.
- Solid understanding of WMS, track-and-trace, and last-mile operations.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
- Full UK driving licence.
