Description
As a Domestic Assistant, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, tidy, and hygienic environment, helping to create a safe, welcoming, and comfortable home for residents, staff, and visitors.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will carry out a range of cleaning duties, which may be rotated or adapted to meet the needs of the service.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the building
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure duties are completed effectively
Support residents by providing cleaning materials and equipment, encouraging them to maintain their own personal spaces in line with their care plans
Report any concerns or difficulties to the Senior Project Worker/Project Worker
Assist with the supervision and guidance of others in house-cleaning duties where required
Participate in staff meetings and training activities
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Warm, friendly, and approachable
Flexible in their approach to working hours and duties
Able to work well as part of a team
Interested in supporting people with complex needs and promoting their wellbeing
Comfortable using basic computer systems, including Microsoft Office and the internet
