The Role
As Stellar Entertainment’s Rendering Engineer, you will be working closely with our wider Rendering and Engineering team to help develop and optimise graphics technology while maintaining visual quality.
As our Rendering Engineer, you will:
Work under direction to develop and optimize rendering features
Assist with the implementation shaders and lighting systems
Coordinate across teams to achieve exceptional visual quality
Work towards optimising performance and memory usage
Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and enhance the rendering pipeline
Research and implement cutting-edge rendering techniques
Work with colleagues to identify bugs and solutions
Requirements
What we’re looking to see on your CV:
Experience in a Rendering role in the gaming industry.
Strong programming skills in C++, and ability to demonstrate your 3D maths expertise
Good knowledge of rendering techniques and algorithms, and experience with shader programming and real-time lighting
Excellent knowledge of optimisation techniques
Familiarity with various engines
Ability to work coordinate across teams
A keen interest in for pushing the boundaries of what’s possible visually, and keeping up to date with latest tech developments in the field
Bonus points if you have;
At least one, or two extra programming languages under your belt
Previous experience in building large scale, realtime, multiplayer games
