Nottinghamshire County Council is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Residential Social Care Worker to join our dedicated team at The Big House, a children’s disabilities home in Edwinstowe. As a Residential Social Care Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical, emotional, and health care needs of children are met. You’ll work closely with families and colleagues to ensure each child’s individual needs are supported with dignity, compassion, and professionalism. The Big House is a warm, welcoming short breaks home, providing high-quality care and support for children with a significant intellectual disability and who may display risk behaviours when they are distressed or have an unmet need. They may also have some moderate physical disabilities and medical and sensory needs. We offer them fun, safe, and enriching experiences while giving families valuable respite.
