Salary: £32,404.04 - £33,435.04 Per Annum (Inclusive of 2 sleep-ins per week)
Shift Pattern: Rotational shifts including earlies, lates, doubles, and sleep-ins

Responsibilities
As a Residential Support Worker, you’ll be a vital part of a team supporting young people who have experienced trauma. Your role will be dynamic, challenging, and deeply rewarding. You’ll be responsible for:
- Supporting daily routines, activities, and emotional well-being
- Managing and de-escalating challenging situations with empathy
- Encouraging independence, education, and life skills
- Being a trusted role model—showing patience, resilience, and compassion
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and stable home environment

About Holly House
Holly House opened in February 2015 and provides a caring, comfortable and supporting environment for up to 5 young people (EBD). The home is situated on a main road that leads into Chesterfield town centre (approximately 1 mile away), which is a short walk away.
Alternatively it also has good transport links via bus. Chesterfield, although a town, has a lot to offer for example cinema, skatepark, bowling alley, leisure centres and parks etc… and if you wish to venture further afield, we are approximately 30 minutes away from Sheffield (Meadowhall & Crystal Peaks) and Nottingham, via car.
Working in close partnership with the local authority, Holly House is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care. The home is designed to feel just that - a home. With comfortable living spaces, a supportive staff team, and access to local amenities, it provides the stability and structure young people need to thrive.

- Life experience from previous careers or personal challenges
- A desire to grow - full training and a funded Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare provided
