About The Role
As the SENDCo, you will play a central role in shaping our inclusive approach to learning. You’ll lead the strategic development and day-to-day coordination of our SEND provision, ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive. Working closely with the Headteacher, staff, parents, and external professionals, you will oversee SEND policies, manage pupil assessments and reviews, and provide professional guidance across the school. From coordinating tailored support plans to ensuring compliance with the SEND Code of Practice, you will be a key advocate for inclusive education. You will ensure every pupil has access to high-quality teaching and a positive school experience.
This is a full-time, permanent role starting 1 September 2026.

Who we are looking for:
You are a dedicated and experienced teacher with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities. With a strong working knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and the ability to lead with empathy and clarity, you thrive in collaborative environments. You’ll bring excellent communication and organisational skills, and ideally hold the NASENCO qualification. You’re confident working with parents, staff, and agencies to develop and implement individualised support strategies.
