How will you make an impact in this role?
The Global Loyalty & Benefits product vision is to enable customers to get more out of life by choosing Amex. Our team enables much of the product value used by our Cardmembers every day, such as earning rewards every time you use your card, redeeming points (or miles and cashback), accessing lounges and fast track services while travelling & receiving the benefits from elite hotel guest status.
We are looking for a talented and driven Associate – Digital Product Management (Product Owner) with expertise in Loyalty products and platforms to support the consultancy, analytical decision making and delivery of Loyalty capabilities used by marketing teams across International markets.
In this role, you will collaborate with Business Stakeholders, Product Management and Engineering teams to define requirements, set priorities and deliver critical outcomes.
- Partner with Engineering, Marketing, Business, Servicing, Channel and Finance teams to deliver exceptional cardmember experiences related to Offers and Redemptions journeys
- Ensure that we operate in alignment with agile methodology and compliance requirements.
- Prioritize development of the software product in alignment with business objectives and customer value using a data driven approach.
- Identify risks, challenges, opportunities and business integration needs, proactively working with the team and leadership to overcome obstacles.
Minimum Qualifications:
- University Degree required or comparable experience in computer sciences, business studies or a related technical discipline.
- A good balance of technical knowledge and business acumen.
- Problem solving, organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellence in Excel and Powerpoint and preferred experience in SQL, Python or other coding and data analytics using Cornerstone, Hive or Lumi.
- Quick learner and driven to learn new functionality.
Ability to manage scope against team capacity and priorities and complete tasks.
