Key Responsibilities
Client Service:
- Advise clients on lease events including rent reviews, lease renewals, break clauses, and dilapidations.
- Interpret and apply lease terms, statutory provisions, and case law to provide accurate technical advice.
- Analyze market comparables, rental evidence, and valuation data to support negotiations.
- Prepare detailed reports, calculations, and recommendations for lease events.
- Monitor critical lease dates and ensure timely action on renewals, reviews, and breaks.
- Assist with dispute resolution, including preparation of submissions for arbitration or expert determination.
- Maintain awareness of relevant legislation, RICS guidance, and best practice standards.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and database management for client portfolios.
- Support internal quality assurance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Participate in training, knowledge sharing, and professional development activities.
- Support recruitment and mentoring initiatives as required.
- Degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Law ( with L&T specialism)
- MRICS preferred or working towards professional qualification considered
- 1–3 years’ experience in landlord and tenant advisory, lease consultancy, or related field.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work independently or as part of a team.
