The result is a modern, welcoming, and supportive clinical setting designed to deliver outstanding specialist haematology care. You will play a key role in providing high-quality, patient-centred care and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey. As a Band 5 Staff Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals with a range of haematological conditions. Working within our refurbished 16-bedded Haematology Ward, you will be part of a skilled and supportive multidisciplinary team committed to providing excellent standards of care. You will also be involved in caring for Level 2 patients requiring enhanced monitoring and support, as well as the safe administration of chemotherapy in line with relevant training, competency frameworks, and Trust policies.
You will support patients and their families throughout their care journey, ensuring a compassionate and professional experience at every stage. You will also contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the ward and help drive the continued development of this modern specialist service.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Registered Nurse with current Nursing and Midwifery Council registration who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care.
You will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, a positive and proactive approach, and a desire to develop your career within a specialist clinical area. Most importantly, you will be committed to providing kind, patient-focused care and making a real difference to the lives of others.
Previous experience in haematology is desirable but not essential, as full training, support, and development opportunities will be provided.
