An opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse to join the Medicine for the Elderly team at Raigmore Hospital.
We are seeking applicants with a strong interest in caring for patients with complex medical needs, including delirium, dementia, and palliative care. Ward 2C provides care for 30 patients, many of whom require specialist support due to frailty, cognitive impairment, and multiple longterm conditions.
In this role, you will contribute to highquality, personcentred nursing care within a multidisciplinary team. You will play an active part in supporting patients with dementia, Parkinson’s, and palliative care needs, delivering compassionate and evidencebased practice.
You will join a motivated and forwardthinking team committed to delivering excellent patient care. Professional development is encouraged, and you will be supported by the Senior Charge Nurse and wider team to access learning opportunities tailored to your development needs.
We are looking for enthusiastic, proactive, and teamfocused individuals with strong communication skills. If you are passionate about this specialty, we would welcome your application. The post includes a 12hour rotational shift pattern.

Additional Information For Candidates
Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
