We have a unique opening to come and work with our expert cardiac cath lab team on the Jim Shahi Unit, part of the University accredited Cardiology Department at the Royal Berkshire Hospital.
Working with our friendly team on the Jim Shahi Unit we can offer you experience in a range of cardiology diagnostic and interventional procedures as well as developing specialised skills such as scrubbing for procedures and delivering nurse led assessment and intervention.
We have a 16-bed day ward and two cardiac catheter labs - procedures undertaken include coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (angioplasty), implantable defibrillators, pacemakers and E.P. studies.
Full training and support will be given to the successful applicant.
