In this team, you will work alongside BCP Children’s Social Care and the CEYP and Youth Homelessness Team to support care-experienced young people and Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children into suitable housing. In addition to the core SIO responsibilities, the role will involve supporting CEYP teams with accommodation planning, homelessness prevention, and care placement move-on. Working closely with Social Care CEYP teams, PAs, and team managers. Collaborating with the CEYP HOO and Senior on prevention initiatives. Supporting young people in B&B and other temporary accommodation to resolve homelessness. Focused work on move-on planning and homelessness prevention for Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children

For all roles, you should have an awareness of homelessness and its many root causes, as well as an ability to put people at ease, exercise empathy and provide trauma informed support.

- Communicate effectively
- Manage a caseload with competing demands

- Find creative solutions to prevent and relieve homelessness

Experience in this field is desirable, but we are looking for those who have the right attitude and behaviours to learn and carry out this role.
A clean driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred.
