An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Band 7 Nurse to join our established nursing leadership team within the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) and Medical Same Day Emergency Care (MSDEC).
We are seeking a proactive and supportive nurse leader with proven clinical leadership and decision-making skills, who thrives in a fast-paced acute environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality, safe and effective care. You will play a pivotal role in providing visible clinical leadership from the point of patient arrival through their entire journey within AMU and MSDEC.
This role requires expert knowledge of acute medicine, patient flow, capacity management and workforce leadership. You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the effective management of the medical take, supporting both inpatient and same-day emergency care pathways.
