Working Pattern: 2 days working from the office, 3 days remote

The Role
This role sits within a fast-paced Working Capital Team and is responsible for managing the Lock Up of the Casualty Practice across multiple teams with varied requirements and processes. The successful candidate will support both the Billing and Credit Control teams through efficient query resolution, task allocation, and a range of administrative and financial processing duties. The work is high volume and low margin, requiring accuracy, strong organisation, and regular interaction with key clients and Senior Partners.

You will be part of the Working Capital Team, collaborating closely with Billing, Credit Control and various legal teams. The department manages financial workflows, supports revenue cycles, and ensures smooth operation of invoice, credit, and cash allocation processes across the Casualty Practice.

Essential Skills & Experience
Technical & Administrative Skills
- Managing multiple shared inboxes and allocating tasks appropriately
- Logging invoice and credit note requests
- Verifying bank account details
- Assisting with billing tasks such as payor set-up or time transfers
- Uploading invoices to supplier portals
- Dispatching bills to legal teams or clients
- Updating credit control systems, including bulk uploads (e.g., bordereaux, remittances)
- Producing letters and re-indexing file names for postal dispatch
- Providing copy invoices or re-uploading queried invoices
- Gathering data such as contact details or payor information for ad hoc tasks and projects
- Good Microsoft Excel skills preferred (training provided)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Exposure to key clients and Senior Partners
