We are seeking Nurses with Emergency Department experience and expertise to join our team. We are currently building our team and are seeking competent nurses who have the desire to develop and build a team with us. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who can demonstrate a commitment to patient-centred care. You will need to be an experienced adult registered nurse with excellent leadership, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
You will be fully competent in the RCN Emergency Nurses competency tool level 1. You will be confident in managing areas of a department and be able to develop in to running the main department.
The Maintain your accountability within the role in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council code (NMC), stating you must work together for the safeguarding and wellbeing of the public.
Supervise, educate, train and develop the workforce within your area of responsibility.
To be accountable and responsible for the delivery of high standards of care in your area.
Act as an advocate for patients at all time, to ensure the highest levels of care are delivered.
Deputise for the Sister/Charge Nurse/Team Leader to cover the management of the ward or clinical unit in their absence as and when required in conjunction with the Sister/Charge Nurse/Team Leader provide effective Clinical leadership.
In conjunction with the Sister/Charge Nurse be responsible for the delivery of High standards of nursing care to all patients in conjunction with the Sister/Charge Nurse be accountable and responsible for the clinical standards of care delivered within the service area and for leading and managing the department.
