We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed nurse to join our busy, community based dermatology team in the Kent area. You will provide hands on clinical care in a fast paced see and treat environment, supporting consultant dermatologists, GPwSIs, and the wider multidisciplinary team. The role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys direct patient contact and wants to develop advanced dermatology skills without taking on managerial responsibilities.
Deliver safe, evidence based dermatology care, including assisting in minor surgery, patch testing, photodynamic therapy, and routine clinic assessments.
Assist with pre and post procedure care, wound dressing, and patient education.
Maintain meticulous patient records in the electronic health record system.
Support infection prevention and control protocols and ensure a sterile working environment.
Participate in quality improvement projects and clinical governance activities.
Work collaboratively with consultants, GPwSIs, nurses, healthcare assistants and other allied health professionals.
Provide expert advice to patients on selfcare and postprocedure management via telephone or inperson.
Attend team meetings, case discussions and training sessions.
