To look after all of our buildings, we are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Estates Officer to join our Estates Team.

Education and qualifications
Essential
- HNC/D minimum level qualification in construction or building services
- Specialist construction or building services knowledge including legislation to degree level or equivalent experience
Desirable
- Membership of an appropriate professional body
- Good CPD evidence
- Post Graduate degree in relevant specialism
- Specialist electrical knowledge to degree level or equivalent experience
Previous experience
Essential
- Significant relevant experience with broad survey and/or maintenance expertise
- Sound understanding of and experience in construction, building services and specialist works
- Experience of design, contracts, tender procedures and project management
- Experience in setting up and operating planned and reactive maintenance systems
- General health and safety experience and knowledge including Control of Legionella and Management of Asbestos
- Good working knowledge of the CDM Regulations
- Experience in an Estates or facilities Management role
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
- Previous experience with secondary and tertiary power.
- Previous NHS and/or ambulance service experience
- General Estate Management experience including working with landlords and statutory bodies.
- Previous involvement in energy monitoring and conservation
