As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a Logistics Coordinator.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment where you'll coordinate domestic and international shipments for customers across the globe. Working closely with our Projects, Quality, Warehouse and Business Development teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are delivered on time, compliantly and within budget.

During your first three months, you'll be based full-time at our Sevenoaks site to support your onboarding and training. Following this, you'll have the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis, subject to business needs.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Coordinating domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP), internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
Managing import and export documentation, customs paperwork and shipping documentation for international deliveries.
Supporting the transportation of controlled drugs, liaising with internal teams and external logistics partners to ensure compliant dispatch and receipt.

Acting as the primary point of contact for customers regarding shipment updates, dispatch arrangements and logistics queries.

Working closely with the Projects Team to support project set-up and ongoing customer requirements.

Providing logistics information and cost estimates to support new business opportunities and project planning.

Preparing customs invoices, packing lists and other documentation required for international shipments.

Maintaining shipment tracking information and supporting the Accounts team where required.

Supporting purchasing activities for consumables, equipment and other operational requirements.

Assisting with goods receipt, intake checking and shipment preparation when required.

Identifying opportunities to improve logistics processes and ensuring activities remain aligned with the Quality Management System.

Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all required training is completed and documented.

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, customer-focused and enjoys working in a collaborative environment where no two days are the same.

Essential

Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments.
Knowledge of import/export processes and customs documentation.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong organisational and planning abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.

Desirable

Experience working within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.

Experience managing Controlled Drug shipments.

Understanding of GDP and/or GMP requirements.

Salary & Benefits

£27,788 per annum, rising to £28,763 after six months.
Hybrid working available following an initial three-month on-site onboarding period.
