About
Since 1919, our charity has been ambitious in the belief that people overcoming life-changing injuries, long-term health conditions, learning difficulties, and the transition to civilian life after service can live independently and thrive in employment.
Through our social enterprises, including Britain’s Bravest Manufacturing Company and Scotland’s Bravest Manufacturing Company, we create skilled jobs for those facing the toughest barriers to work. More than 70% of our workforce are veterans, people with disabilities, or both. Every product we make powers economic growth and delivers measurable social value.
Our award-winning employment programme, Lifeworks, helps veterans and military families build confidence, gain skills, and secure meaningful employment. Four in five participants move into paid work, training, or volunteering within 12 months.
Our Kent village has supported thousands since 1919. Today, over 340 veterans and their families live within the village in emergency accommodation, supported living, and permanent housing. It’s a blueprint that combines housing, employment, and community support in one place.
We champion British manufacturing, national pride, and the power of meaningful work to empower Britain’s Bravest. We’re practical, focused, and driven by impact, and we’re proud to lead by example.
