The Souvlaki began as a humble street food stall in the summer of 2015 at Kingston’s Ancient Market. Our authentic Greek flavors quickly captured the hearts of Londoners, building a loyal customer base from day one.
In 2018, we opened our first full-service restaurant in Kingston Upon Thames. Since then, we’ve perfected our recipes, refined our systems, and built a highly efficient and consistent operational model.
Following rapid growth in 2022 and recognition as “Best Takeaway in Greater London” at the 2023 Just Eat Restaurant Awards, we are now expanding nationally and internationally through carefully selected franchise partnerships.
Today, we are proud to operate 12 locations across the UK, making The Souvlaki one of the fastest-growing Greek food brands in the country.
We use authentic, natural Greek ingredients imported directly from Greece: Cretan Extra Virgin Olive Oil, PDO Feta Cheese, original Greek Pita Bread, real Cypriot Halloumi, Kalamata olives, and our signature homemade sauces.
Our meats are always freshly grilled, and our focus on consistency, quality and taste sets us apart from the competition.
