SOC 5245 is an eligible occupation, but we are only 58% sure that is the right code. Subsea 7 (UK Service Company) Limited is a licensed sponsor, so if the code fits, the role should qualify. Check the occupation eligibility rules against what the job actually involves.
We are looking for an AI Compliance & Security Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen on a permanent basis.
The AI Compliance & Security Engineer will play a key role in supporting Subsea7's AI strategy by helping establish a secure, compliant, and well-governed AI environment. The role requires a keen willingness to learn and evaluate emerging AI technologies, for example Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, translating that knowledge into practical governance, security, and risk management controls.
Working closely with IT, Security, Legal, Data, and business teams, the individual will help define and maintain AI guardrails, policies, standards, and approved usage patterns. They will assess new AI capabilities, identify security, privacy, compliance, and operational risks, and proactively highlight gaps in functionality, controls, or organisational readiness. Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, as the role will act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure AI solutions are adopted safely, responsibly, and effectively across Subsea7.
Please note, if you don’t tick all the boxes below but feel you have some of the relevant skills and experience we’re looking for, please do consider applying. We would encourage you to apply with a CV that highlights your transferable skills and experience.
