We are excited to offer the opportunity to join Manchester Foundation Trust (MFT) as a band 6 Anaesthetic and Recovery Team Leader within Burns Theatres.
As part of the perioperative team you will assist in the safe, smooth and efficient running of the perioperative environment, utilising skills including:
Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
Ability to work in a highly technical area
Problem solving and organisational skills
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Thorough and conscientious approach to working
Anaesthetic
Support patients prior to and during surgery, utilising specialist medication, equipment and devices, working alongside the anaesthetist to ensure patient safety is maintained throughout their perioperative journey.
Recovery
Support and monitor patients after major Burns Surgery and provide appropriate care until they have recovered from the effects of their anaesthesia and surgery; assessing and treating the patient until they are discharged from the Unit.
