JSS Search is supporting a leading mid-market private equity firm in recruiting a Carried Interest Analyst. The firm focuses on investing in and growing businesses with essential products or services in structurally expanding markets. ESG and responsible investment considerations are fully integrated into its investment and value-creation activities.

The firm partners with companies typically valued between €200 million and €1 billion and manages multi-billion euro assets across Europe and the US. The team is internationally distributed and driven by a culture of continuous improvement, underpinned by core values such as integrity, humility, excellence, and courage.

JSS Search is seeking a Carried Interest Analyst to work closely with the Controller in maintaining, managing, and reporting on carried interest structures across the firm’s funds.

Maintain and update carried interest data in internal systems and reporting platforms
Test quarterly outputs for accuracy
Manage bookkeeping and produce annual accounts for carried interest entities in line with partnership agreements

Prepare semi-annual valuations for inclusion in carried interest deal sheets

Open and close bank accounts, and manage bank transfers

Respond to queries regarding carried interest arrangements

Ensure proper documentation and approvals for all carried interest schemes

Prepare quarterly wealth statements for investors

Maintain carry and LLP awards, and track allocations on acquisitions and exits

Support onboarding and offboarding processes for new joiners and leavers

Ideal candidate:

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)
Fund administration background highly advantageous
Experience within private equity and carried interest preferred
Familiarity with Investran, Anaplan, or similar systems advantageous
Strong numerical, analytical, and Excel skills
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage peak workloads
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
ACA/ACCA qualified (1st or 2nd time passes acceptable)
Degree-educated
