Department: Legal Department (Lottery - EMEA & APAC)
Location: Manchester (Media City/Salford Quays). Flexible hybrid working arrangements are available, with remote work options based on agreed working patterns.
Brightstar Legal Department is seeking a highly skilled and motivated legal professional to provide general commercial law support, with a focus on the review, negotiation, and drafting of a wide range of commercial agreements, including technology supply agreements, tender contracts, joint venture agreements and partner agreements for our EMEA & APAC Lottery businesses.
This role will support operations in current jurisdictions across Europe and Asia Pacific, along with potential new business opportunities in new jurisdictions.
As part of the global Brightstar Legal Department (approximately 40 professionals worldwide), you will provide legal support to business teams operating across EMEA & APAC. You will work in a dynamic, collaborative, and high-performance environment, helping Brightstar navigate a broad range of legal and commercial challenges.
The Legal Team in the UK consists of 7 lawyers based in Manchester and London who support various parts of Brightstar’s business. This role will be part of the Lottery Legal team and will report to the Vice President & Deputy General Counsel based in Manchester, UK. The position includes management responsibility for 2 UK-based lawyers.
