Within our Engineering practice, the Quality Engineering team plays a pivotal role, standing at the forefront of ensuring the reliability and performance of technology systems. They drive innovative, end-to-end quality assurance and testing solutions, leveraging continuous test automation, performance engineering, and advanced testing methodologies to accelerate secure delivery, minimise defects, and enhance the overall quality of IT solutions.

Deloitte’s Investment Management and Wealth practice is actively engaged across the industry to support delivering a wide range of operational, technical, and regulatory solutions designed to help the players across the value chain create a competitive advantage and achieve their growth ambitions. Our practice works closely with leading Private Banks, Wealth Managers, Asset Managers and Asset Servicing firms to solve large complex problems, with a particular emphasis on optimising and transforming back-office operations.

We are seeking a talented Associate Director to lead testing solutions for leading investment and wealth management clients. You will shape test strategy across traditional and agile programmes. You will also build senior client relationships and strengthen leadership capability. Responsibilities include:

• Lead delivery programmes by defining modern Quality Engineering strategies, test architectures, and assurance frameworks. Work closely with multi-capability teams and senior business and IT stakeholders to deliver high-quality QE outcomes on time.
• Collaborate with our investment & wealth management leadership teams, proposition owners and QE to develop and implement ‘Go to market’ propositions to attract new clients.
• Shape client Quality Engineering strategies, roadmaps, and transformation programmes across Investment Management and Wealth. Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and guide investment in the right QE tools and methods.
• Help develop Deloitte’s QE propositions for the Investment Management and Wealth market through pre-sales, bids, and client presentations. Support practice growth and contribute to a diverse and inclusive culture.
• Strengthen Deloitte’s QE capability by coaching junior team members and helping define and implement QE accelerators and standards.

The following are the core skills and experience required to be successful in this role:

• Deep investment or wealth management industry expertise gained in complex client-facing environments, ideally with exposure to the CRD or FNZ technology suites

The following will be desirable skills:

• A proven track record in a top tier consultancy
• Exposure to additional Investment Management & Wealth industry platforms such as, BlackRock Aladdin, Avaloq, SS&C and Sonata
• Exposure to test automation tools
• Ability to design and implement test automation frameworks, AI frameworks
• Relevant certifications e.g. ISTQB Advanced Test Manager, SAFe Agilist
• Experience in administering a test management tool (e.g. , Xray for Jira, Zephyr)
