This post is a key senior leader in the Trust performance team working as a senior subject matter expert across Trust to improve the current performance challenges and harness opportunities to achieve operational excellence. Where required, the role will provide additional capacity, subject matter expertise and support to Clinical Group performance and operational teams on areas of particular performance challenge.

Qualifications

Essential

• Master's degree or equivalent job-related experience/graduate calibre.
• Evidence of continuing professional development
• The post holder will require in-depth professional knowledge in a number of disciplines e.g. operational management, information and reporting systems, staff management

Desirable

• Project management qualification
• Post-graduate management qualification.

Knowledge

Essential

• Demonstrable experience at senior level in large complex organisation
• Information management, analysis and reporting of complex data
• Experience of leading change initiatives
• Project management experience and success in implementing highly complex projects
• Management experience and development of teams

A track record of successful engagement with operational and clinical leaders

Experience of developing alliances and partnerships within and across organisations

Able to demonstrate operational success managing performance in a large organisation

Desirable

• Operational / Performance experience within an NHS setting

Skills

Essential

• Able to manage multiple and complex projects including reporting and tracking of plans and actions.
• Successful team leadership / motivation of others
