As a Battery Production Manager, you'll play a critical role in delivering safe, efficient and high-quality battery production. Leading large operational teams and driving continuous improvement, you'll help create the foundations for future vehicle programmes while making a lasting impact on people, performance and product excellence.

What To Expect

This is a highly visible leadership role within our battery manufacturing operations. You'll be responsible for driving operational performance across multiple production areas, developing high-performing teams and ensuring the successful delivery of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People and Environment objectives.

Here's what to expect:

  • Leading battery manufacturing operations across key production areas, including frame welding, energy management module assembly, battery stack assembly and battery pack assembly
  • Developing, coaching and supporting large production teams, creating a culture where people can grow, contribute and maximise their full potential
  • Driving operational excellence through lean manufacturing, root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities that improve yield, throughput and efficiency
  • Collaborating with engineering, maintenance, supply chain and quality teams to introduce new equipment, automation and process improvements
  • Monitoring operational performance, quality measures and production KPIs while implementing actions that deliver sustainable business improvement

  • What You’ll Need

    Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you'll need to have to help you succeed here, including:

    • Leading large, multi-shift manufacturing teams and delivering output, quality and cost targets within a high-volume production environment
    • Applying lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies and structured problem-solving techniques to improve operational performance
    • Demonstrating a strong understanding of quality systems, defect reduction strategies, yield improvement and overall equipment effectiveness
    • Interpreting production data, operational KPIs and manufacturing dashboards to support effective decision-making and performance improvement
    • Collaborating effectively across engineering, maintenance, supply chain and quality functions while leading change within complex manufacturing operations
