An exciting opportunity has arisen for a breast screening programme manager covering the South East London Breast Screening Programme (SELBSP). This role is based at Kings College Hospital.
The South East London Breast Screening Programme covers six South East London Clinical Commissioning Groups: Lambeth, Southwark & Lewisham, Bromley and Bexley & Greenwich. The programme is responsible to the National Breast Screening Programme and is committed to the protocols and national standards therein, and is committed to invite well women between the ages of 50-70 for breast mammography 3 yearly.You will be responsible for delivery and operation of the South East London Breast screening department. In conjunction with the clinical director you will be responsible for the planning and the delivery of the service in line with the National Screening Programme along with relevant local and national initiatives.You will be a key member of the breast radiology and breast screening management team, leading projects to improve service delivery and meeting commissioning requirements in key areas. This post involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team. You will have excellent verbal and written communication abilities and possess exceptional organisational skills. You will deputise for the service manager-breast radiology and breast screening as required.
