Civil Litigation Solicitor

We are a diverse and agile firm, who pride ourselves on our quality of work, client service and passion for our practice. We are now seeking a Civil Litigation Solicitor or employed barrister with 7+ years of post-qualification experience to join our expanding Dispute Resolution Team, which focuses on complex and high-value litigation and arbitration, including cases with a sanctions-related component.

We would like to hear from candidates who can demonstrate the following:

• Experience in a top-market/boutique City disputes resolution practice (or practices), focusing predominantly or solely on civil matters concerning high-value and/ or complex corporate, commercial and financial disputes.
• A strong grasp of the CPR and the Commercial Court Guide, as well as the CE-File system.
• A proven track record of working on complex civil litigation across their career to date.
• An ability to handle their own caseload for less complex cases, as well as assist on larger matters.
• Management of junior team members and ability to progress cases independently.

The ideal candidate would also have experience in some of the following:

• Civil fraud.
• Cross-border disputes and/ or the conflict of laws.
• Sanctions and white-collar crime/ investigations matters.
• Matters for high net worth and/ or ultra-high net worth individuals.

The skills required for this role will include:

• Ability to work to deadlines/targets, prioritise and manage a caseload and deliver effective solutions.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative with a positive attitude.
