About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative role of Mental Health Practitioner with the Older Adult Mental Health team Brecon, Powys.
This role would also provide an opportunity to be mentored or to mentor, career progression and continued education.
We are seeking applications from Registered Mental Health Nurses, Social workers or Occupational Therapists, who have experience of working in community services.

Qualifications and Knowledge

- Registered Mental Health Nurse OR Occupational Therapist OR Registered Social Worker
- Up-to-date registration
- Post registration experience within Older Age Psychiatry Assessment processes
- Skilled in risk assessment and risk management
- Understanding of the Mental Health Measure (Wales)
- Knowledge of evidence-based interventions
Experience

- Prioritise and manage own workload
- Multi-disciplinary teamwork
Skills and Attributes
Essential
- Knowledgeable and skilled in mental health assessment, requiring the ability to plan, organise and signpost care
- Proven clinical skills commensurate with the post
