About the role
Candidates will be invited to provide a video interview from 1st September to 6th September.
Should you be successful, you will be invited to a face-to-face Assessment Centre which will be carried out between 28th September and 23rd October.
Successful candidates will be notified following the Assessment Centre at the end of October /early November.
These vacancies have a planned start date of the 11th January 2027.

Reporting to a Connections Manager, you will be responsible for preparing domestic & small commercial applications through its quotation journey, working alongside our Connections Technician and Works Coordinator, supporting them throughout the process. This could be to accommodate a new build property, an existing property requiring an increase or amendment of supply, requesting low carbon technology or a small commercial business. 10/10 customer service is what Northern Powergrid strives for, and your role is crucial in this journey.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are committed to working in a fast-paced environment, while also delivering and maintaining quality. As well as wanting to be part of a winning team and giving great customer service at every step of the journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screening connections applications received from customers for minimum information and progressing system administration of each application through to the Connection Technician and / or Works Coordinator.
Starting salary: £26,676, with progression to £29,395 (P&A L2 pp6-8)
