My client is recruiting a experienced Cyber Security Architect to lead the design and evolution of secure technology solutions across a major UK logistics network. This role goes beyond standard corporate IT, embedding "security-by-design" principles across enterprise systems, cloud environments, and complex Operational Technology (OT/SCADA) environments underpinning vital national supply chains.
Define and maintain security architecture standards, reference designs, and patterns across enterprise IT, cloud, and OT infrastructure.
Act as the technical Security Design Authority for new capital projects, system changes, and third-party supplier solutions.
Conduct threat modelling and architectural risk assessments to identify control gaps and drive resilience.
Collaborate closely with 24/7 operations, network engineering, and OT teams to ensure security patterns are pragmatic and operational.
Align controls with recognised frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF).
Proven experience in technical security architecture within enterprise or industrial settings.
Strong grasp of network segmentation, identity/access management, cloud security, and OT/ICS security fundamentals.
Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, or TOGAF are desirable.
