Design Manager

Reds10, an award-winning leader in offsite construction, is recruiting a Design Manager for our Leeds office.

This is a great opportunity to join our ambitious team designing and delivering high-quality, sustainable buildings across multiple tenures. The role may suit an experienced Design Manager or someone from an engineering or architectural background who is currently running their own projects.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality designs that meet client expectations.
• Lead and oversee the design and technical processes, from proposals to construction.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Manage budgets and timelines, ensuring seamless project execution.
• Drive innovation, keeping up to date with the latest design technologies and processes.
• Lead co-ordination meetings with sub-contractors during design development.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong technical knowledge and relevant sector experience.
• Interest in, or knowledge of MMC would be a benefit
• Project management and organisational skills.
• Experience managing sub-consultant scopes and appointments.
• Experience of pre-construction design activities.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• Ability to integrate design seamlessly with overall project objectives.
• Strong commercial acumen
• Able to develop and maintain excellent working relationships and build trust with all levels of the team internally and external.
