An innovative automotive engineering company is looking to add an Embedded Software Engineer to their growing engineering team. Chroma are supporting the search to help meet increasing demand across a range of advanced vehicle technologies and control systems.
This Embedded Software Engineer role offers the opportunity to develop embedded software for both prototype and production projects, working closely with cross-functional engineering teams on cutting-edge automotive applications. You'll be involved in software development, customer integration, testing and validation, whilst contributing to the development of reusable software libraries across multiple products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Embedded C development within a safety-critical environment. Automotive experience and hardware knowledge would be advantageous.
Embedded Software Engineer Requirements:
• Degree in Software Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering or similar
• 2-5+ years' experience within an Embedded Software role
• Strong Embedded C programming experience
• Experience working within Automotive, Aerospace, Medical or similar industries
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, I2C or UART
• Experience with AUTOSAR, Vector tools or ISO 26262 (beneficial)
This is a fully onsite role based in Cambridge, offering flexible start and finish times and a 5-20% performance bonus. You will be part of a growing engineering team, working on innovative embedded systems from concept through to deployment.
