Enterprise Account Manager: Water sector
Full-time · Water Sector · UK & Ireland
We’re a fast-scaling, AI and purpose-driven software company transforming how critical infrastructure decisions are made across water, energy, and other asset-intensive industries. Now, we’re looking for an ambitious Enterprise Account Manager to help power the next stage of our growth journey.
If you’re feeling stuck in a role with limited room to grow, learn, and truly make an impact, this could be your chance to step up and thrive. Experience in the UK water sector, or other regulated asset-intensive sector, as consultant or business development professional would certainly help you stand out, but what matters most is your drive, curiosity, leadership skills and ability to build lasting relationships.
About Decisio
Decisio (formerly known as BMA) is a UK-based, purpose-driven technology company. Our cloud-based platform, Decisio, is the fastest-growing decision intelligence technology in the UK. Decisio helps clients redefine the way they tackle the decisions that matter most. Our technology helps risk- and asset-intensive organisations identify the ‘next’ optimal investments on critical infrastructure to navigate the profitable transition to a sustainable, resilient and low-carbon business model. Decisio is deployed across numerous clients in the water, wastewater, waste-to-energy and energy sectors.
BMA holds an enviable position in the UK water sector – one of the most dynamic and fast-evolving industries today, and a pillar of our client ecosystem. As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will take a central role in the BMA journey and operate in this space. You will own relationships with key clients in our portfolio whilst also supporting the broader GTM team with new business opportunities, servicing both our existing and target UK and Ireland water client base. You will also support the penetration of target international markets. As such, the role may require international travel when appropriate. Local travel is a prerequisite.
About the role
We’re looking for a driven, high-energy professional with a hands-on approach and a natural instinct for closing deals. This role is built for someone with at least three years’ experience in strategic consultancy or sales, and a proven track record of hitting revenue targets in SaaS, digital solutions, technology, or tech-related consulting sales. Experience in the water sector is a distinct advantage.
We want a natural team player, someone curious, results-oriented, and motivated to make a tangible impact within our GTM team. You’ll own growth across your accounts while working closely with Pre-sales, Business Development and Marketing colleagues to design and deliver activities that generate demand and accelerate adoption. You’ll be reporting to the Head of Growth.
Our AI driven solutions help clients make better decisions ‘doing what they do’ but also, and importantly, enable clients to ‘do things differently’ for improved operational performance, streamlined delivery of capital investment and maintenance programmes, and strategic investment decisions. This drives change and delivers significant client value. Energy and determination are therefore fundamental attributes of the desired candidate.
What we are looking for
● Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in client-facing consultancy roles or selling software, technology solutions. Experience in the UK&I water industry would be a distinct advantage.
● A consistent track record of achieving or exceeding targets and business expectations.
● Experience in strategic value-based selling and navigating the complexities of large sales cycles within blue-chip customers. Our clients are organizations typically in the £1 billion-plus turnover segment, and proven experience with Procurement departments in this size of client is fundamental.
● Ability to rapidly familiarise themselves with the value proposition, explore new use cases and to clearly articulate this in conversations with water industry professionals up to director and C-suite level.
● Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels.
What you’ll do
● Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, accountable for driving revenue growth within your allocated accounts.
● Work closely with our Head of Growth and Execs to build and manage a strong pipeline, while also sourcing opportunities directly.
● Build and maintain strong client relationships, representing Decisio at conferences and events as well as regular update sessions with a range of contacts across your accounts (both online meetings as well as, and preferably, face-to-face).
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and opportunities in our CRM system (experience with tools such as HubSpot is a plus, but not essential).
● Understand clients’ needs and feed these back into the GTM and Product team to help improve strategy, positioning, and execution, as well as give input to the Product development process.
● Familiarity with the Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a prerequisite.
● Interest in exploring how AI-native systems can help scale our sales approach is a definite plus.

We offer market-related salaries and uncapped incentive structures. As a business entering the next phase of growth, the opportunities are significant for ambitious individuals who outperform.
