The role
You’ll support the Head of Environment & Sustainability in the delivery of the group wide MAG (Manchester Airport Group) sustainability programme. You’ll help coordinate environmental assurance, ISO 14001 management system activity, action tracking, reporting and budget oversight across Manchester, London Stansted and East Midlands Airports. You’ll be pivotal in the co-ordination of environmental standardisation across the group and on-going sustainability improvement. You’ll also work alongside and support the Environmental Specialists, Managers and Biodiversity Infrastructure Manager too.
What will make you successful in the role?
You’ll ideally be a member of the Institute of Sustainability & Environmental Professionals (ISEP) and have worked with ISO14001 although not essential as you don’t need to have all the technical answers on day one - we’re looking for someone with strong coordination skills, attention to detail, confidence working with data and a genuine interest in environment, sustainability and continuous improvement.

The offer must clear both the general threshold and the SOC 2152 going rate of £41,700. New-entrant and shortage discounts can lower it.
