Role Description
The Fire Extinguisher & Mechanical Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the inspection, maintenance, and servicing of fire extinguishers and related mechanical fire safety systems. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Aberdeen, coordinating service schedules, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and supporting technicians in delivering high-quality work. Typical day-to-day tasks include supervising service teams, reviewing service reports, managing stock and equipment, and liaising with clients to plan and confirm visits. The role also involves supporting risk assessment activities, helping maintain documentation for regulatory compliance, and contributing to continuous improvement of service processes. Qualifications
Experience in managing fire extinguisher servicing and mechanical fire safety systems, with strong knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
- Background in service management or team leadership in a technical, engineering, or fire safety environment.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and documentation control.
