Full Stack Engineer - Data
London - Hybrid
Contract
Responsibilities include
- Full-stack development with lots of freedom in terms of architecture and design
- Application of machine learning and AI where appropriate
- Interaction and cooperation with established development teams on target systems, as well as stakeholders and users
- Focus on quality and shipping working code to users in the most efficient timeframe on a continuous development basis
- Collaborate on code reviews and best practice within a small, agile, focused team
We’re looking for
- An product-focused mindset: The candidate understands what they are building and why
- An ability to work proactively with minimal supervision
- 5+ years of experience in a technical data integration, migration role or development role
- Familiarity with JavaScript, Typescript, React and Python.
- Relevant degree in a numeric discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Experience of financial markets and the trade lifecycle strongly beneficial
- A willingness to get involved in the detail and to get the job done
- Excellent written and spoken English
Beneficial
- Experience with ETLs and Data warehouse
- Exposure to Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience of databases and distributed systems (e.g. Kafka or similar message streaming technology, Service-driven architecture, data consistency)
