Group Treasury Manager

Treasury Manager | £75,000 - £85,000 | Hybrid (London 2 days / WFH 3 days)

Our client is a large, privately-owned international consumer & retail group, currently expanding its Group finance function following the establishment of a new external debt facility. As a result, they are looking to appoint an experienced Group Treasury Manager.

The Role

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, you will oversee and manage the Group's new external debt facility, taking full ownership of the associated accounting processes. You'll be responsible for cash flow, liquidity and risk management, as well as ensuring accurate financial reporting for the two new treasury companies holding the external facility and intercompany funding arrangements.

This is a great opportunity for a treasury professional with strong Group debt facility and intercompany funding experience, who is equally comfortable with the day-to-day financial accounting of treasury-related transactions within a large group.

Key Responsibilities

Treasury & Risk Management

• Identify and manage financial risk across the Group, including interest rate and FX exposure
• Keep the Group compliant with banking covenants, regulatory obligations and internal treasury policy
• Own day-to-day cash flow and liquidity management to support the Group's operational needs
• Coordinate intercompany funding flows to and from the Group, working closely with subsidiary finance teams
• Reconcile the Group's consolidated cash position each month alongside subsidiary finance teams
• Track market conditions and adapt cash management strategy to protect returns and manage risk
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and reporting for treasury purposes and senior management review

Financial Compliance

• Take ownership of the statutory accounts process for the Group's three treasury entities, acting as the main point of contact for external auditors

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years PQE with relevant experience in a treasury function
• Treasury experience in a similar role for a large international group, including liaison with external stakeholders and financial reporting for a treasury company
• Ideally experience completing statutory accounts for a finance company under IFRS and UK GAAP
• Highly organised, with the ability to take initiative and manage multiple concurrent workstreams
• Strong problem-solving skills and a resilient, can-do attitude
