Apply now for the position of Head of Strategy, Great Britain & Ireland (GB&I) and you will lead a strategy team to shape the GB&I strategy agenda across every business line — strategic planning, deployment of strategic initiatives, market and competitive analysis, and board-grade recommendations. The role is a thought partner to the Managing Director and the Management Team, and the internal centre of gravity for “where do we play and how do we win?”

Your Role:

• Strategy design & Development - Lead the strategic plan for GB&I; produce market analyses that inform the Management Team (e.g. UK market dynamics, implications of the NHSE 10-year plan, readiness for the Procurement Act). Act as liaison to the EUR region.
• Business-line & cross business-line strategy - Support the highest-value strategy projects across business lines.
• Market & competitive intelligence - Own the fact base on market dynamics, competitors and disruptive entrants — for example the implications of new entrants in imaging, competitive positioning, and shifts in the NHS and Irish (HSE) systems. Turn this into clear strategic implications for the Management Team.
• AI & productivity - Embed AI across the strategy and other GB&I workflows so the teams deliver a high throughput, reallocating freed capacity to deeper, higher-value work.
• Leadership, talent & communication - Lead, develop and grow a high-calibre strategy team; build the talent pipeline; and set the standard for board-ready, answer-first communication in every output and Management Team engagement.
  
  

Your Expertise:

• Top-tier strategy-consulting background (or equivalent in-house strategy leadership), ideally with healthcare, medtech or public-sector exposure.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills — market sizing, competitive and pricing analysis, scenario modelling and board-grade business cases.
• Excellent “where-to-play / how-to-win” strategic judgement across a multi-business-line portfolio.
• Consulting-standard structuring and storylining; able to produce genuinely board-ready outputs and present under challenge.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and the Management Team with a rigorous fact base, without direct authority.
• Experience leading high-performing teams and developing talent.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to prioritise ruthlessly across competing strategy demands.
• Fluent English; willingness to travel across the UK, Ireland and occasionally globally.
