We are looking for a highly motivated podiatrist, who is passionate about their profession and enjoys making a difference to people's lives. You will be expected to work at an advanced level and should aspire to lead, educate and develop others in the team.
We welcome applications from clinicians currently working at band 6. Ideally you will have at least five years' NHS experience and be confident in all aspects of podiatry care and team working. You must be able to lead by example and inspire the team to work effectively and achieve good outcomes for patients.
You will provide high-quality podiatric care, for people at risk of developing serious foot health complications. There is emphasis on diabetes foot protection as the population we serve has a very high incidence of diabetes.
You will have the support of our friendly peer group of experienced clinicians, who are committed to providing excellent clinical care, which is patient centred and compassionate
The service works closely with district nursing teams, tissue viability nurses, and local integrated teams. as well as linking with the wider MDT and PCN networks. We have a direct pathway into the Diabetic Foot Clinic at West Middlesex University Hospital.
