History Teacher to join its successful Humanities department from
September 2026 on a full-time contract until
July 2027. This position is
well suited to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners, with the potential for a permanent position following a successful academic year.
The school delivers a broad, knowledge-rich History curriculum that develops pupils' analytical thinking, source evaluation and extended writing skills across KS3 and KS4. The Humanities department has a strong track record of academic success and is known for its collaborative approach, with shared planning, regular moderation and a comprehensive bank of teaching resources. The Role
As a
History Teacher, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 depending on experience. You will monitor pupil progress through effective assessment, contribute to intervention programmes and inspire students to develop a lasting interest in History.
