Role Description The Inclusionist is a temporary, on-site role based in Mansfield, supporting learners to fully participate in college life and achieve their educational goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing one-to-one and small group support, promoting inclusion in classrooms and around the campus, and assisting learners with additional needs to access learning activities and resources. The role involves working collaboratively with teaching staff, support teams, and external agencies to implement inclusive strategies and individualized support plans. The Inclusionist will help monitor learner progress, contribute to reviews and reports, and encourage independence, confidence, and positive behavior. The role also includes maintaining accurate records, following safeguarding and equality policies, and promoting a respectful, welcoming environment for all learners.
Qualifications

• Experience supporting diverse learners in educational settings, including those with special educational needs and disabilities, mental health needs, or other barriers to learning.
• Knowledge of inclusive education practices, equality, diversity and inclusion principles, and safeguarding procedures.
