Interim Employment Legal Counsel (International)

A leading global organisation is seeking an Employment Lawyer to support HR and business leaders across multiple international markets.

This is a broad, commercially focused role covering employee relations, workplace investigations, employment law advice, organisational change, compliance, and people-related risk management. You'll work closely with HR teams and senior stakeholders to provide practical legal guidance in a fast-paced, international environment.

Start date: September 2026

Duration: 3 months

Key responsibilities:

• Advise on a wide range of employment law and employee relations matters across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support workplace investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes.
• Provide guidance on restructures, consultations, and workforce change programmes.
• Assist with employment litigation and regulatory compliance matters.
• Partner with HR teams to develop policies, training, and best practice initiatives.
• Support immigration, mobility, and workforce compliance activities where required.
• Monitor legal developments and advise on associated business impacts.

About you:

• Qualified lawyer with exposure to employment law (in-house or private practice).
• Experience handling employee relations and workplace investigations.
• Knowledge of international employment law issues and cross-border stakeholder management.
• Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
• Confident working independently and managing competing priorities.
• Experience advising on workplace AI, compliance, or regulatory matters is an advantage.
• Additional language skills are beneficial but not essential.
