Interim Treasury Manager
Contract: Initial 6-Month Contract
Location: London

Day Rate: £500–£600 per day, Outside IR35
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office
A high-profile, PE-backed organisation (£40million revenue) operating within the sustainability, data and technology space is seeking an experienced Interim Treasury Manager to support the finance function during a significant period of business transformation.
Following a recent PE investment and ongoing organisational change, the business is seeking a treasury professional who can quickly take ownership of group treasury activities and provide robust support across cash management, liquidity planning, banking relationships and financial risk management.
Working closely with the CFO and wider international finance teams, you will play a critical role in enhancing cash visibility across a complex multi-entity structure while helping to strengthen treasury processes, controls and reporting capabilities.
This is a hands-on assignment for a commercially minded treasury professional who is comfortable operating autonomously, partnering with stakeholders globally and driving improvements within a fast-paced transformation environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of group cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning across multiple international entities.
- Monitor banking facilities and ensure compliance with covenant and reporting requirements.
- Partner with finance teams globally to improve cash visibility, treasury controls and management reporting.
- Support working capital initiatives and identify opportunities to optimise liquidity across the group.
- Manage banking relationships and oversee day-to-day treasury operations.
- Oversee cash positioning, intercompany funding arrangements and global cash management activities.
To Be Successful
- Proven experience operating in a Treasury Manager, Group Treasury Manager or similar senior treasury role within a complex multi-entity environment.
- Strong hands-on experience managing cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning and working capital optimisation.
- Demonstrable experience managing banking relationships, debt facilities and covenant reporting.
- Excellent understanding of treasury controls, cash management structures and financial risk management principles.
- Comfortable working independently and able to quickly establish credibility with senior stakeholders.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering across international finance teams.
- Previous experience supporting finance transformation, process improvement or change programmes would be highly advantageous.
- Available to start at short notice and able to work from the London office three days per week.
