About the role
Role Overview:
TAP Advisors is seeking an experienced Investment Banking Analyst to join its growing London team. Analysts at TAP Advisors play a critical role in supporting deal execution and origination across M&A, private financings, and strategic advisory mandates. Responsibilities will include financial modelling, due diligence, industry analysis, preparation of client-facing materials, and interaction with other transaction advisors. The role offers significant exposure to complex, cross-border transactions and the opportunity to work closely with senior Managing Directors across multiple markets
Candidate Profile:
- Between 12 and 24 months of full-time experience (excluding internships) in M&A advisory / investment banking at an investment bank, boutique, or other related advisory firm in London
- The successful candidate must currently be employed and based in London
- Prior M&A transaction execution experience. Experience in TMT, Telecom and Digital Infrastructure is a plus
- Solid financial modelling and valuation skills, with a robust understanding of core finance concepts
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Experience conducting due diligence and solving complex analytical problems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, AI prompting & tools, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, and other financial analysis platforms
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial and focused team environment
