JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Junior Planning Engineer, reporting into the planning team, this role will assist in driving data quality throughout the planning teams. The key responsibilities will ensure that the PowerBl / Management Information is accurate and can be used to make informed decisions within the CMDP business.
CMDP+ delivers complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects on behalf of our client. Accurate programme data, robust governance and clear reporting are critical to safe delivery, commercial performance and achieving our commitments. This role supports the planning team by maintaining high quality data, producing insightful reports and helping the business make better decisions
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities
The Junior Planner / Data Analyst will be responsible for the following activities:
- Schedule Health Check Report - Maintenance of the report and repair and errors which need to be fixed.
- Governance - Maintenance of Governance coding and reporting to ensure the data reported is accurate and CMDP calendars can be booked accordingly.
- Report coding - ensure all programmes are correctly coded to ensure that the correct information is pulling across to the PowerBl suite of reports.
- Stage 1 Risk Management - Keeping on top of the EWN/Risk registers to ensue all risks and associated mitigation actions are reported in the programmes / report on PowerBl.
- SCO Reporting - Ensure that the full suite of SCO's required for each project are correctly forecast and coded to ensure that this can be managed accurately.
- Purchasers Obligations - All Purchasers Obligations to be updated and managed including site specific requirements.
- Level 2 Milestone Reporting - Ensure we have accurate
- L2 milestones forecast in the programmes for key areas.
- CS/CEMAR - Ensure that CS/CEMAR data is represented in the programmes and linked through to the relevant activities.
Baseline Management - ensure that we are capturing the correct baselines inline with our baseline procedures to include - Stage 1, Stage 2 and Start on Site.End of Month Reporting checks - Inc. narratives, milestone movements.P6 resource and Subcontract forecasting utilising actual data to enable resource planning, subcontract and package forecastingResource planning using actual resource data - current. available, forecast works inc. Site - Civils, M&E, Commissioning.Estimating demand forecasting - assist with estimating planning and prioritisation.SWS coding maintenance - maintain the suite of SWS codes to ensure the data reported is accurate.Procurement Schedule coding and reporting - Maintain procurement coding to ensure procurement schedule reporting accuracy.OPI Risk time posting - work with the teams to ensure accurate time critical risks are posted to P6.Board Package reporting - assist with planning related board pack presentation documents.Weekly site photo reporting - work with the site teams to produce a weekly site progress report showing progress photos for key areas.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Good IT literacy with the MS Office.
- Good communication skills and working in a Team.
- An organised individual that can work well within a team and to deadline.

- Previous knowledge of planning activities.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths
Desirable
- Minimum of HNC/HND ideally in a planning discipline or relevant experience
- APM Project Membership
