Working hours Part Time – 30 hours per week across Monday – Friday (some flexibility on working hours will be required)

Location (e.g. hybrid working with office location at Howdon, Tyne and Wear

About The Role

We have a great opportunity for a Laboratory Administration Assistant to join us. In this role you will support the team of Contracts Officers and the wider Laboratory Customer Team, meeting the team’s invoicing and routine reporting commitments and producing routine laboratory performance reports.

You will ensue that all routine reports, invoices and production reports are all produced in line with agreed targets and in compliance with quality procedures. You will work closely with Contracts Officers, the wider Laboratory Customer team, the Sampling teams and the Business Income team.

About You

If you have administration experience in a technical or scientific environment, we would love to hear from you! You will understand the importance of quality systems, be familiar with MS Office and can learn new software packages.

You have great communication skills both written and verbal, with good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work. You work well within a team environment and can adapt to changing systems and procedures.
