Lead Data Engineer – FS – London/Bristol 1dpw - £90k-£120k
La Fosse are working with a growing and bespoke Financial Services firm.
Off the back of huge investment via PE-backing, they are heavily investing in tech, data and AI, and now looking to scale their data function and modernise their capabilities to provide the best insights and solutions possible for their clients.
We’re now looking for an experienced Lead Data Engineer. Someone with a track record of taking ownership of the design and hands on delivery of data platforms, architecture and who can work with stakeholders across the business to drive this forward.
This is a tech lead role – very hands on with technical leadership rather than pure people management (there will be an option to manage as the function grows, but this is up to you), but also an opportunity to work with the CTO to make strategic decisions.
Strong experience in the full Azure stack and SQL is a must. DBT or similar is nice to have. FS experience isn’t necessarily required as they’re open to someone bringing a fresh perspective into the business, and you’ll have a well-informed team to lean on when it comes to the industry-specifics.
This is a real opportunity to steer the technical direction of a business without much red-tape.

The offer must clear both the general threshold and the SOC 2133 going rate of £54,900. New-entrant and shortage discounts can lower it.
