💼 About the RoleWe are looking for individuals with experience of working in family law and particularly in divorce and financial remedy in England and Wales. A background in counselling, coaching, mediation, negotiation or conflict resolution to mediate and establish a solution to our customers’ divorce issues would be desirable.
You will be trained to specifically handle the psychological, legal and process aspects of our customers’ divorce. You may give legal or financial information, advice on children arrangements or emotional support to make the divorce process as kind as possible. You will follow the amicable divorce process and keep the couple in collaborative discourse, avoiding court proceedings and ensuring the divorce, financial and children agreements are made within the time and meeting schedule.
We've launched a new business line, New Relationships, expanding amicable’s work beyond separation to support people at more stages of their relationships. This will include, cohabitation agreements, prenuptial agreements and living together planning sessions, alongside other services that help couples plan their relationships more thoughtfully. This role will offer opportunities to work with customers across these new services.
